Hello my name is Candace. It’s a pleasure to meet you. I was born and raised in New York. My love for cooking came from watching my great grandma and my grandma in the kitchen (they were excellent cooks). Their food was always so delicious and I would often imitate them on my play cook set and easy bake oven. The fire for cooking started then and stuck with me. As I traveled throughout the United States and abroad, I have always sought out authentic home cooking. I would frequent “mom and pop” spots instead of big restaurants. Now that I currently live in the South, the passion for cooking has resurfaced. This time I am completely dedicated to pursuing my dreams and provide healthy and delicious food for you. One bite at a time. Tagline—-Delicious Food, One Bite At A Time.

I am originally from New York but I love living in Greenville.
I don’t have a favorite restaurant yet. If the food is great, I’m there.
Ramen noodles and chicken dumplings steamed in ginger miso stock. Then drizzled with crunchy chili oil and the spritz of half a lemon. Food of the gods!
I would really like to be able to focus on healthy cooking/vegetarian.
I want to be a chef because I am very passionate about healthy eating. We should care about and be aware of what we put into our bodies. When my grandma passed away in 2002, I literally promised myself I would eat healthier. The best way for me to do that is by cooking my own meals. I would love to share that.
I am definitely interested in being healthy. If I wasn’t a chef, I would definitely be a nurse.
I love the idea of cooking healthy food, making it taste great and sharing it with people. I am also drawn to the flexibility and work/life balance it provides.
